Zenoah G45, G62, and GT80 Conversion Kit is a hardware set designed to adapt these specific Zenoah engines for an electronic ignition system.
It replaces the factory magneto components to provide the proper timing trigger required to operate an external CDI unit.
Compatible Engines: Zenoah G45, G62, and GT80
Included Components: Flywheel with pre-installed magnet, sensor holder with sensor
Not Included: CDI module (sold separately)
Install
This timing kit is to convert the old style MAGNETO to Electronic Ignition.
CDI is need it , you can use the original plug or change to CM-6 or 1/4-32 to get more clearence if you need.
Simple to install.
Take of the coil start from the back
Remove the 2 bolts on the propdrive
Remove the nut from flywheel
Remove flywheel- careful with the key!
Remove the magnito coil and retain the 2 bolts ( in some cases may need shorten)
Remove the old coil.
Install the the new flywheel
Tighten the center nut good
Install your propdrive and tighten the 2 bolts
Install the sensor where old magneto coil use to be above the old flywheel.
